Hakolino began with a simple idea: that great lighting shouldn’t be hard to find. Like so many stories, ours started at home—when our founder Rachel, an interior design enthusiast with a sharp eye for detail, was searching for statement lighting that combined elegance, quality, and affordability. What she found instead was a market full of compromise: beautiful designs that lacked quality, or well-made pieces that broke the bank.
Frustrated by the trade-off between design and cost, Rachel set out to change that—and Hakolino was born.
With over two decades of experience in lighting and interiors behind her, Rachel began curating a collection that marries form and function.
